Women's Ministry

Calvary has a very active and involved women’s ministry. The purpose of our women’s ministry here at Calvary Chapel Desert Light is to develop deep spiritual roots through ministry opportunities, bible study, prayer and fellowship. Right now, there are about 25 different areas of ministry available to women to be involved in to use and their gifts and talents. These areas are overseen by five leaders within our body. Our Women’s Bible Study meets every Tuesday with two times to fit your schedule. You can join us at 9:30am in the sanctuary or at 6:30pm in the meeting room. We study the bible inductively and have specially produced workbooks issued quarterly. We have four teachers that rotate weekly. Each study has a time of sharing praises and prayer requests, worship, teaching of the Word, followed by a time of discussion. When there is a fifth Tuesday in the month, we meet at same time for a brunch and devotional sharing.

This summer, we hosted our retreat here at our facility and the Lord met us in a special way. Stay tuned for information on our Women's Retreat in 2024 and how you can be involved.
